The second season of Major League Cricket is done and dusted!
Led by an imperious Steve Smith who scored a match winning 88 of 55 balls, The Washington Freedom were able to sweep aside the San Francisco Unicorns with ease to claim the MLC title in only it's second year in Dallas.
Ricky Ponting's side barely faltered this campaign and the Australian core of the Freedom's team of Smith, Head and Maxwell certainly served them well.
Two seasons in now and we can begin to see some early patterns of those who is already stamping their authority on the MLC.
